Please feel free to make comments or suggestions, Just click on the COMMENTS link below the draft. I love to hear from anyone who has read my mock. It is the only way that I can track if anyone is actually reading it!! (no counters)

Here is a final working model- a few big changes, and a few big risers!
This reflects no trades, and this year I think there will be several!

ROUND ONE
____________________________________

-1. 49ers- QB Alex Smith, Utah- Finally it's getting clearer.

-2. Dolphins- RB Ronnie Brown, Auburn - I think that the Dolphins, if they cannot trade down, will go with the easiest choice instead of Rodgers.

-3. Browns- WR Braylon Edwards, Michigan- Again, I could see the Browns moving down, but Edwards is the guy who goes at 3.

-4. Bears- RB Cadillac Williams, Auburn- Bears take all 15 minutes on this one, could be Williams. They wanna move down, too.

-5. Bucs- WR Mike Williams, USC - Or Benson or Cadillac, and rumours that they are enamored with Alex Smith....

-6. Titans- QB Aaron Rodgers, Cal- If he is not taken by here, he could really slide.

-7. Vikings- WR Troy Williamson, South Carolina- They go for a real burner here. His speed will give him the ability to become the next receiver to go in the 1st. He is rising up charts after running a 4.3 40.

-8. Cardinals- CB Pac Man Jones, WV- He will go here if they get a deal done for Travis Henry. If not, it will be Benson or the 'Lac. Rolle falling?

-9. Redskins- LB Derrick Johnson, Texas - This guy should be a top 5 candidate, but missed a few tackles too many last year. Could definately lean towards Merriman here. Or a corner. I've had them projected to take a corner forever, but where they sit tin the second, there are still some guys there.

-10. Detroit- CB Antrel Rolle, Miami-Will not fall past #10.

-11. Cowboys- DE Shawne Merriman, Maryland- Great athelete, Jerry Jones and Parcells will agree on this one. He fits their evolving scheme, and provides speed. He could actually go much higher.

-12. Chargers- DE Erasmus James, Wisconsin-The Chargers could also look to Troy Williamson here. They need a pass rush.

-13. Texans- OT Alex Barron, FSU- Great value at 13. David Carr is happier.

-14. Carolina- RB Cedric Benson, Texas- Value and need collide unexpectedly here.

-15. Kansas City- CB Carlos Rogers, Auburn- They had better address their defense in this draft.

-16. New Orleans- S Thomas Davis, UGA- If N.O. does not take him, look for him to fall a few spots. Safeties are cheap, and he does not project to have ideal range. He will be a good project-type as a LB.

-17. Bengals- DT Travis Johnson, FSU- They would be happy to still see him here. He is a "upside" guy so he will go early.

-18. Vikings- DE Marcus Spears, LSU- Can play a nice role next to Kevin Williams.

-19. Rams- OT Jammal Brown, Oklahoma Kyle Turley is available. Brown is a perfect answer to help keep the Rams offense going.

-20. Cowboys- DE David Pollack, UGA- . I live in GA and saw this guy a bunch. He has a motor, and keeps it running all game. Undersized but able. Tweener but a football player. Cowboys all of a sudden have a new identity.

-21. Jacksonville- CB Justin Miller, Clemson-
They go ahead and address secondary concerns after signing Hayward and Wiley. I would like to see them go after Clayton.

-22. Ravens- WR Mark Clayton, Oklahoma- Does not have ideal size, but has tremendous talent. His speed ipmressed in Indy. The might move up if Williams or Williamson falls.

-23. Seahawks- DE Dan Cody, Oklahoma- Only reason he falls to here is because of red flags over depression.

-24. Green Bay- DE Demarcus Ware, Troy- He is a fast riser.

-25. Denver- OT Khalif Barnes, Washington- Perfect fit if he is still available.

-26. Jets- WR/QB/? Matt Jones, Arkansas- They go ahead and take the project guy.

-27. Falcons- DT Shaun Cody, USC- None of the OTs are left, so they address the loss of Fish and give Rod Coleman some inside help.

-28. Chargers- WR Roddy White, UAB- He ia a speedster with above average hands. Chargers 1st goes just as planned.

-29. Colts- DE Justin Tuck, Notre Dame- They better go defense here.

->30. Steelers- TE Heath Miller, UVA - They have a solid roster, so they can do what they want with this pick. He would contribute quickly. Could go as high as 9. Or lower than this.

-31. Eagles- DE Matt Roth, Iowa - He is a motor guy, and gives great depth to the Eagles' pass rush.

-32. Patriots- LB Daryl Blackstock, UVA Belicheck gets to sit back at 32 and still get talent. Could be one of several LBs taken near this pick (Burnett, Thurman).
